Darby Stanchfield made her television debut with the show Diagnoses: Murder after honing her acting skills on stage. She also appeared in the films The Picture of Dorian Gray and Waitress. Then she was cast as Shannon Gibbs, Jethro Gibbs’ deceased wife, who appeared in his NCIS memories on occasion. Her time on the show was brief, and she rose to prominence after portraying Abby Whelan in the political drama Scandal. We saw her in Gladiator Wanted and The Noise after that.

Sarah Clarke had already established herself as Nina Myers on the action show 24 when she first appeared on NCIS as a guest star. In the 2008 film Twilight, she played Bella Swan’s mother! NCIS teased her return after a guest appearance, but her character, FBI Special Agent Tess Monroe, would only be a recurring role. Since then, you’ve probably seen her on shows like Trust Me, Covert Affairs, and Bosch on Amazon.
