Isaac Hayes was the driving force behind the Stax Albums label. Prior to becoming a singer-songwriter, he worked as an in-house guitarist for a record label. He was born and raised in Tennessee, where he wrote the song ‘Soul Guy,’ which is considered to be one of the most influential soul songs of all time. In addition, he has published well-known movie songs. He wrote the film score for Shaft, for which he was nominated for an Academy Award. Oscar received the “competitive” designation because he was the third African-American child.

Joe Strummer is a punk rock legend who has been around since the 1970s. He formed a band called “The Clash,” which was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003. He has worked with a variety of bands, including Mescaleros, the Pogues, Latino Rockabilly 101, and others. He also pursued a solo career, composing TV and film scores, producing radio plays, and rising to the top of the ranks of the activist organization Rock Against Racism as a leading actress.
